I am fortunate to have enjoyed a long and varied career working in social care. At Arcare my focus is to maximise the opportunities available to our service users; to co-ordinate support that is tailored to each individual and the goals that matter to them. I am passionate about continual improvement, striving to enable our service users to maximise their potential and make the most of life.

I am not your conventional care home manager. I love wrestling and love lorry spotting. I also run my own stitching business which is the complete polar opposite of my usual hobbies. One thing i am consistent with is the care, support a my team provide the clients. We are trully dedicated and believe in our service delivery. On my first date with my fiancé I broke his leg when he tried but failed to stop me from falling on ice. I landed on him! We are still together 24yrs later!

Recognizing that my service users are individuals and that providing choice and respecting their dignity and decisions is central to their continued well-being and independence. My goal is to help people lead fulfilled, independent lives in the homes and for Support Staff to strive to enhance the well-being of our service users through available opportunities and options. I have a passion for Independence and respect for choice. This ethos runs through every aspect of the homes, delivered through outstanding training and professionalism, extended support teams, regular service plan reviews and open communications channels.
